2018 Honda Civic Trim Levels

The upbeat and energetic Honda Civic is a practical sedan that gets great fuel economy. Since this model continues to grow in popularity around Atlantic City and Egg Harbor, Boardwalk Honda decided to create a 2018 Honda Civic trim levels guide.

You see, the Civic offers a range of different trims, so drivers can customize the car to better fit their everyday lifestyles. This article will touch on each available trim level, while providing brief insight into what makes that trim unique.

Honda Civic LX

The first trim level, or standard trim level, is the 2018 Honda Civic LX. This option offers a convenient blend of performance and technology.

First, it sports an in-line 4-cylinder engine, which can capably produce 158 horsepower and 138 lb-ft of torque. This motor is paired with your choice of a 6-speed manual transmission or continuously variable transmission.

A few technology additions include the 5-inch Color LCD Screen, and the useful combination of Bluetooth® Streaming Audio and Bluetooth® HandsFreeLink®.

Next up, we have the Honda Civic EX. This option takes the technology and infotainment to another level.

In addition to the features found in the LX, there are new systems like a 7-inch high-resolution display with customizable feature settings, HondaLink® connectivity, plus Apple CarPlay™ and Android Audio™. These last two inclusions allow you to sync your smartphone with your Civic. After doing so, you can pull up apps or music on the touchscreen display.

The next trim level is the Honda Civic EX-T. This option has some neat interior features, like a dual-zone automatic climate control system, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a leather-wrapped shift knob.

The exterior isn’t left out in the cold, though. Illuminating fog lights and a body-colored deck lid spoiler are just two worthwhile additions.

Finally, the EX-T is outfitted with a different engine than the LX and EX. This trim level sports an in-line 4-cylinder with a single-scroll turbocharger, capable of putting out 174 horsepower and 167 lb-ft of torque. This same engine is also found in the final two trim levels.

To start, the EX-L looks to make your life a little simpler, and a little more comfortable. It does this with help from the standard leather-trimmed seats and 8-way power adjustable driver’s seat.

The automatic-dimming rearview mirror is another notable addition that helps cut out glares and gleams as you try to peer into your mirror.

2018 Honda Civic

The final, fully-stocked trim level in the 2018 Honda Civic is the Touring.

This option is incredibly safe, with intelligent standard features like Lane Keeping Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Honda LaneWatch™, a Road Departure Mitigation system, and a Collision Mitigation Braking System™.

The standard LED headlights with auto on/off capabilities are also useful when winding around back roads.
