Not only is the SUV quite spacious with 152.9 cubic feet of passenger volume, but it has many amenities to help keep everyone happy. For instance, you can get optional heated and ventilated leather-trimmed front seats. You can even opt for the available tri-zone automatic climate control system.
With this, you, your front passengers, and your rear passengers, can independently set and adjust your climate settings as needed throughout your commute. This adjustment will all be done without ever interfering with one another’s climate settings.
Your second-row passengers can travel with the upmost heated comfort thanks to the available second-row heated seats. Even more comfort is possible when you upgrade your second row to Captain’s Chairs. This configuration would bring seating capacity down to seven, but those passengers will get their own cupholders along with a little extra elbow room.

The Honda Pilot can tow 3,500 pounds in the 2-wheel drive version. This is enough for a couple watercrafts for the beach or snowmobiles for the mountains.
However, the Pilot is also capable of towing a hefty 5,000 pounds when properly equipped. You may want to take a fishing trip, in which case you can hitch a small recreational boat to the back of this SUV. Or, you can bring along a small hard-side RV to your next camping trip in the woods.
With Power-Assisted Ventilated Front Disc/Solid Rear Disc Brakes and features like Hill Start Assist, the Pilot can handle whatever you want to tow behind it.

The Pilot comes with a 3.5L i-VTEC® V6 engine that delivers 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. It offers a smooth performance and has great fuel economy, too. When equipped with a 9-speed automatic transmission, the Pilot can achieve an EPA-estimated 20 city/27 highway MPG rating for 2WD 9AT trims—namely with the Honda Pilot Touring trim level.1

The Honda Pilot trim levels have many amenities to help make your drives more enjoyable. There are five trims, each with their own set of features:
This variety of trim levels and standard features makes it possible for each driver to equip your Honda Pilot with all the features needed to ensure your commute exceeds your expectations.

There’s also plenty of room to fit all your family’s belongings inside the Pilot. Behind the third row, there’s 16.5 cubic feet of cargo space. Fold that row down, and you get 46.8 cubic feet. When the second and third rows are folded down, you have up to 83.9 cubic feet to take advantage of.
Honda knows that each time you load up for an adventure your needs are different. One time you might need as much space for passengers as possible, other times you might need all the cargo space possible. Although, most often, you’ll likely find yourself needing a mix of both passenger and cargo options. For that reason, the third-row bench seats can fold flat into a 60/40 configuration.
Need a little extra room? You can also configure the second-row seats into a 60/40 split. With the different seating configurations, you can fit items as long as a ladder or as big as a bicycle while still leaving room for people in the back. You can also load up all the equipment you need to make your day on the lake or the mountains even more enjoyable.
You can even fold down the rear seats to take a break between your adventures. With the optional panoramic roof, you can still take in all the wonders the natural world has to offer while resting comfortably in your cabin’s interior.
Plus, loading items into the SUV is easy thanks to the available Hands-Free Access Power Tailgate. If your hands are full, swipe your foot under the rear bumper when your keys are in your purse or pocket. The liftgate will then automatically open, and you can quickly load up the Pilot and be on your way!
