2019 Honda Odyssey Trim Levels
If you’re looking for a minivan with a dependable ride, lots of space, and plenty of features, the 2019 Honda Odyssey could be a great option. However, it’s deciding on the right trim level that you may need to think on.
That’s because there are a number of different ones to choose from-all of which have great features to help elevate your drives around Atlantic City and Egg Harbor.
That’s why we created this guide to the 2019 Honda Odyssey trim levels. See what each one has to offer, then contact Boardwalk Honda to see them in person.
2019 Honda Odyssey LX
Right off the bat, the Honda Odyssey LX gives you an impressive performance, with its 3.5L V6 engine that produces 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. You’ll find this engine across all the trim levels, along with an EPA-estimated fuel economy rating of 19 city/28 highway MPG.*
Not only does the vehicle handle well on the road, but it’s also spacious enough for eight people and their belongings. That’s because it has 163.6 cubic feet of passenger volume, with 40.9 inches of legroom in the first and second rows and 38.1 inches of legroom in the third row.
When it comes to cargo space, you can get up to 158 cubic feet when the second and third rows are folded down. To put that in perspective, that’s enough room for a stack of 4×8-foot plywood sheets for your next home improvement project!
2019 Odyssey EX
Next up is the Odyssey EX, which introduces the Magic Slide 2nd-Row Seats™ with armrests and walk-in feature. You can pull the seat closer to you to strap your child into their car seat, while also giving easier access to the third row.
This trim also gives you a 12-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with 4-way power lumbar support. This feature makes it easy to get comfortable behind the wheel, while the heated front seats let you quickly warm up with just the touch of a button.
In addition, the EX gives you some impressive technologies, like Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ smartphone integration. By plugging your phone into the vehicle’s USB port, your favorite apps will appear on the 8-inch display screen-making it easy to access them while driving.
Honda Odyssey EX-L
The Honda Odyssey EX-L offers many of the same features as the EX trim, including HD Radio™ and SiriusXM® Satellite Radio. The latter gives you over 100 different stations to listen to. So, if you need to keep your children entertained, turn on Kids Place Live, KIDZ BOP, or another channel designed just for them.
Also like the EX trim, EX-L gives you an impressive suite of driver-assisting technologies. With Honda Sensing®, you get features like:
- Lane Keeping Assist System
- Adaptive Cruise Control
- Collision Mitigation Braking System™
These can all help alert you to things you might miss while driving. As a result, you’ll be able to stay in your lane, keep a safe distance from the car in front of you, and avoid colliding into a vehicle or person.
2019 Honda Odyssey Touring
Move on up to the 2019 Odyssey Touring, and you get leather seating for the first and second rows. Plus, the 12-way power-adjustable driver’s seat we mentioned before now has a memory function-making it easier to trade off driving duties with your spouse or other family member.
The Touring trim also lets you keep an eye on your backseat passengers, thanks to a CabinWatch® Rear Seat Monitor. If you need to keep things in line, use CabinTalk™ to talk directly to the kids, even overriding the RES-connected headphones.
Those headphones can actually be used with the Advanced Rear Entertainment System. This feature comes with a Blu-ray™ player and built-in streaming apps. So, the little ones can watch a movie or play games on a 10.2-inch high-resolution screen, while you get to enjoy a quiet ride.

The highest trim level is the Honda Odyssey Elite, which comes with all the features we mentioned above. It also comes with heated/ventilated front seats, so you can quickly warm up or cool down to adjust to the changing temperatures outside.
For technology, there’s a Honda Satellite-Link Navigation System™, which you can also find in the Touring trim. Use voice recognition to easily pull up an address, then Honda HD Digital Traffic will help you get to your destination in no time at all.
Also like the Touring trim, Elite comes with a mobile hotspot capability. As a result, you and your passengers can stay connected to the internet, no matter where you travel. Elite comes with a wireless phone charger, so you can leave your charger at home and use the accompanying pad to keep your phone charged.
