Summer '12 Music Festivals Include the Honda Civic

In order to successfully capture a certain demographic, an automaker must go to where its members go. No company knows this more than Honda. That's why the Big H is gearing up to sponsor some of the most popular music festivals of the summer...a pastime that holds a large population of Gen Y consumers in its grasp.

Specifically, what does the Honda tour lineup look like? The hip automotive brand made its first stop in George, WA for Sasquatch! and will now make its way to The Governors Ball in New York City in June and Austin City Limits in Austin, TX this fall. Taking the stage with world-famous musicians at each festival will be the equally talented 2012 Honda Civic. What's more, the Honda Stage will feature fan-friendly activities, including the chance for festival-mongers to win a brand-new Honda Civic Si Coupe.

Tom Peyton, Senior Manager of Honda National Advertising, points out that the "cool factor" shared by cars and music, makes the partnership such a good match. Peyton says, "Music fans can see the hottest musical talent on the Honda Stages and have the opportunity to drive away in the hottest car on the road..."1
